It is  tough a time for parents and caregivers out there. Children are NOT safe in 2024 on-line. Only 3 percent of parents think it is their children being exploited. When 90% of children are seeing sexual content. We need to do something urgently and believe me, I'm right there with you.

 As a parent myself, and someone who's spent over three decades at the forefront of neuroscience and neuroplasticity research at the Queensland University of Technology.  I've delved into how our brains can change and adapt, influenced by everything from our childhood experiences to our daily interactions with technology.

Every day, I hear from parents who've been dealing with their struggles in silence. They share stories of navigating the digital landscape with their children, often feeling overwhelmed and unsure. It's a common thread that runs through many conversations.

These conversations have shaped my approach to both my professional research and the advice I offer through my book,

'Being Seen,' and the Thriving Minds and Being Seen podcasts.

They drive home the point that while the digital age brings incredible opportunities for learning and connection, it also presents unique challenges that weren't part of previous generations' parenting experiences.

Our goal is to empower parents with knowledge and tools to confidently navigate the digital world with their children, ensuring they grow into healthy, resilient individuals.

We need to activate the parent and educators to keep our kids safe on-line.
